
Moist, tender, gently sweet, and lightweight like a feather cake capped with gorgeous little items of almost pastry-like cinnamon sweetness. It was SOOOOO good. A number of my crumb sank in places...I am certain I most likely did not have it distributed super evenly, therefore it was likely my fault, but nevertheless, the flavour is 5* occasions millions of!
Sooo GOOOOOD!!The very best crumb cake EVER for me!! I love that there's plenty of crumbs. It required a hour to bake rather than 35-40 min also it switched out great. I made cake flour with all of purpose flour + corn starch which labored all right. Great cake to create last second when you really need something for visitors because all of the elements are what you might ordinarily have available. Thank you for posting it!!
I viewed the recording on America's Test Kitchen once they chose to make this cake and understood I needed to check it out. Fortunately, I had been lucky enought to obtain the recipe here! My only problem was that my crumb topping was a bit dry.it had been difficult to make up the balls without one falling apart apart which wound up beside me getting a lot of loose crumbs rather than a lot of moist little balls.however it was still being Crazy. The wedding cake am moist, and also the crumb topping was the vast majority the wedding cake, or even more. Even my hubby, who isn't the earth's greatest crumb cake fan, ate 3 pieces having a giant glass of milk. Worth the effort!
