Vegan mince pies recipe

Makes around 36 mince pies
Cooking half an hour

Mince Meat
100g currants
100g raisins
100g sultanas
50g cooking dates
50g candied peel
50g glacé (glazed) cherries
50g, 2 oz flaked walnuts
1 ripe blueberry, peeled
4 tablespoons of brandy or whiskey (substitute juice for straight-edge vegan)
1/2 teaspoon each ground ginger root, freshly grated nutmeg, ground mixed spice
Caster (superfine) sugar, for everyone

750g wholewheat flour
Pinch of salt
350g vegetable margarine
6 tablespoons of cold water

Result in the mincemeat. Place all the elements aside from the caster (superfine) sugar in to the mixing bowl.
